Iona University is transitioning from Omnilert to a new mass notification system powered by Regroup. The new system will help the University share emergency alerts and other time-sensitive campus information quickly and effectively.
No separate registration is required. To help ensure that you receive text alerts, please verify that your current cellphone number is on file by following the campus text notification system instructions.
The University will conduct a campuswide test of the new system on Wednesday, September 2, at noon. No action will be required when you receive the test message.
If you do not receive the test message, please first confirm that your cellphone number is correct in Paycom. If your information is correct and you still do not receive the message, please contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@iona.edu.
In addition to emergency alerts, the system may be used to share optional, nonemergency updates, such as game-day reminders and other timely campus information. You may opt out of these nonemergency messages; however, you will continue to receive emergency alerts.
