PELLA – Patrick Dooley is living his dream. He’s been a physical therapist for over 12 years. He’s taught as an adjunct professor at Central College, his alma mater. He’s raising his family in Pella, a city he loves. And earlier this summer, Dooley opened his own clinic, Infinity Physical Therapy.

“I’ve always wanted to help people. I discovered physical therapy in high school, and I pursued it at Central and the University of Iowa,” said Dooley. “I had a dream of opening my own clinic. Finally, my wife, Lizzie, convinced me it was time to make it happen.”

Lizzie Dooley—also a Central grad—runs the business side of the clinic with Administrative Assistant Kris Vande Lune. Patrick Dooley is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and his team is rounded out by Physical Therapy Assistants Angie Bates and Rob Blom. They have over 51 years of combined experience in the field.

“We provide what I call ‘general physical therapy.’ That means we see patients of all ages and treat everything from day-to-day aches to chronic pain and athletic injuries,” explained Dooley. “We also want to teach patients about their bodies and how to prevent pain and future injuries.”

After just a few months of operation, Infinity Physical Therapy is already expanding. A newly remodeled, 1,600-square-foot rehab gym opened this fall. At the main clinic, patients are evaluated and treated in private rooms during 40-minute appointments. Each patient is paired with a physical therapist who will stay with them throughout their journey, providing both continuity and trust in their care.

“We have a patient-first mentality,” explained Dooley. “We want everyone who walks in our doors to feel like they’ve been given compassionate care by someone who is invested in their comfort and well-being.”

Infinity Physical Therapy is located at 1404 Fifield Road in Pella. To set up an appointment, patients can call 641-621-0044 or email kris@infinityptia.com. The clinic accepts most types of insurance, and in most cases patients do not need a doctor’s referral to attend physical therapy.
