"Global Competence Across DC" will be held on Thursday the 25th at Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The event will feature breakout sessions led by local educators passionate about global competence. We will highlight a number of initiatives, from preschool through high school, that engage young people with the world.

Washington Yu Ying is a dual language (English-Chinese) elementary school that offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. It is located at 220 Taylor Street NE, near Catholic University. There is limited parking in the school parking lot but plenty of street parking near the school along 2nd Street and Taussig Place NE.
