Founders Week
Each March, since 1925, our Founders Celebration salutes our rich past and promising future with a variety of events. Importantly, it pays tribute to the steadfast and visionary men and women who sacrificed greatly to establish the institution and to the enduring spirit of those founders, as it honors, as well, those who have devoted comparable service to the building of the University over many decades. Join us as we commemorate the 100th Founders Celebration and the 10th anniversary of the docudrama Back Up the Mountain.

A Message from Your Alumni President
I’m thrilled to invite you to join us for Founders Week, a cherished tradition that celebrates 100 years of honoring our founders. It all began on March 11, 1925, when J. Howard Maughan, then director of the Branch Agricultural College, declared that our founders’ vision and dedication would be celebrated annually in March. This milestone event is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community, reflect on our proud history, and celebrate the legacy that continues to inspire future generations of Thunderbirds.
