On October 19 Compass Records will release Some People I Know, the follow-up to The Brother Brothers’ critically lauded 2017 EP Tugboats. Identical twin brothers Adam and David Moss recorded Some People I Know at Mark Ettinger’s Lethe Lounge in New York City with producer Robin Macmillan and engineer Jefferson Hamer, capturing their natural harmonies and evocative lyricism, reflecting a timeless sound and spirit. The pair will support I’m With Her on tour throughout the fall and also offer a series of their own headlining gigs.

Today we premiere “Mary Ann” from the forthcoming album. The Brother Brothers tell Relix, “On its face, the song is a letter to our many friends who struggle with depression, letting them know that no matter how long they seek solitude or how far away their friends may seem, we’re always there and understand on many levels what they’re going through, and we’ll be waiting.”
