Celebrate Cultures in Nature: Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

Discover unique historical tales about the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks as we celebrate different cultures together! Each month, a different culture and celebration will be highlighted, usually with the program presented in multiple languages. This allows everyone to fully enjoy the beauty of the land.

This month we will focus on a Chinese celebration called Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. This fun night  celebrates the middle of autumn with lanterns, lion dances and moon cakes. Come and enjoy a different evening hike on the trails of Round Canyon.

Reviewing the 1-through-5 Difficulty Ratings will help you evaluate your readiness to participate in this level-2 activity on the land.
