A message from your Ski and Snowboard School Leadership Team |
As we approach the finish line for the season, be sure to take care of yourself. Summer is just around the corner, and we all want to exit the ski and snowboard season happy and whole and ready to enjoy all the warm-weather activities available to us. If you are still out there riding the slush, stay hydrated, wear lots of sunscreen, and keep your body limber for the constantly changing conditions. Once the time comes to hang up your board or skis for the year, give yourself the space and time to reset in whatever way makes the most sense for you. None of this season would have been possible without you, and you have more than earned some self-care.
Thank you for everything this winter, finish strong!

A message from Vail Ski and Snowboard School |
The “heat dome” we experienced took a significant toll on Vail Mountain. Due to continued warm temperatures and overnight inversions, snow melted faster than anticipated. As a result, Golden Peak beginner terrain and lifts have now closed for the season.
Chair 6 remained open only while Chair 11 was operational and while a safe lift maze could be maintained at Chair 6.
Be sure to visit the site below for the most current and reliable information.
