Thanks to the generosity of Flip Circus who provided us with 8 free tickets to their recent show in Plymouth Meeting. A few of our guests had the opportunity to go on an evening field trip to relax and have some fun watching the clowns, acrobats, and jugglers at this incredible traveling circus. Catch them the next time they’re in town! https://ow.ly/Y3Z350RJKl4 #FlipCircus #Circus #Cirque #Acrobat #Clowns

Last month we saw three men graduate from Helping Up Mission Up Mission, our partner in fighting homelessness and addiction in the form of Spiritual Recovery in Baltimore, MD. These men went through a year of Self Discovery, Awakening to God, Confidence in Healthy Living, Education, and effective Relapse Prevention. Join us in congratulating them on this accomplishment! #HopeLivesHere #Homelessness #Recovery #Addiction #Spirituality #Philadelphia #Baltimore

It's a common misconception that warm months make life easier for those experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia. The reality is that their struggles persist no matter the season. That's why we must ask you to remember to show your support year-round. This May, we're asking for donations to our May Matters campaign, and we're asking for your help. Your donations will go a long way towards making a real impact in the lives of those who need it most. We’ll also be matching your donation for the month of May up to $50K, so make your money count extra this month! https://ow.ly/rAlM50RyO5P #MayMatters #Charity #Donation #Homeless #Philadelphia

We kindly request donations to our Amazon Wishlist to support those experiencing homelessness here at Philly House. Your support means everything to us, and every donation helps make a difference in the lives of our guests. #Homeless #Donate #Wishlist #Philadelphia #Charity

Each month we hold one big party for all of our guests with birthdays. It's an amazing opportunity to love and walk alongside them and celebrate a day that otherwise may be ignored. This is Juan, one of our Next Level residents and volunteers in the kitchen, celebrating his late April birthday . It was a pleasure to serve him and make sure he felt special on his birthday! #Birthday #Celebrate #Homeless #HopeLivesHere

We are engaging our volunteers, staff, and guests in an activity to learn what dignity means to them! Individuals contribute to this activity by writing their answers on our "What Dignity Means to Me..." banner in our dining room each day. This is such a great opportunity to take time to meditate on our value of dignity and come together to learn what it means to those we serve and those who serve alongside us. #Dignity #Homeless #Volunteer

Volunteering not only benefits our guests, but it’s also an incredibly rewarding experience that allows individuals to grow and learn while giving back to the community. Join us and become part of a movement that is dedicated to providing care and dignity for those who need it the most. https://ow.ly/ajbP50RzI2H

We’d like to give a very special thank you to the Downstate Juniors Volleyball Club. For the 2nd year in a row, these lovely ladies put together beautiful baskets of needed items for our guests such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shirts, deodorant, and more. These donations are such a blessing to our guests and we wish the team luck in their upcoming competition! #Volleyball #Volunteer #Charity #Donate

It's easy to assume that the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia improve during warmer months, but we must remember no season offers a reprieve from their struggles. For our May Matters campaign, we’ll be matching your donations all month up to $50K, so take this opportunity to double your donation. https://ow.ly/F1rC50RvUkg #MayMatters #Charity #Homeless #Philadelphia #Donate #Poverty #Housing
