Atlantic City, NJ –Stockton University hosted the Stockton-AC Boat Race on a sunny and windy afternoon at the Atlantic City Boat House. The day featured head-to-head races between the Ospreys, University of Rochester and Cabrini University. Rochester captured the Stan Bergman Trophy, with Stockton second and Cabrini third.
Stockton topped Cabrini in two races on the afternoon. The Ospreys finished in 5:45.9 to best Cabrini's 6:18.7 in the varsity eight.
Julianna Hanson (Linwood/Mainland) was the coxswain for Stockton.

Julia Iannelli (Ventnor/Atlantic City) rowed in the eight.
In the final race of the day, the women's novice four of
Geri Richardson (Berlin/Eastern),
Caitlyn Fogarty (Jackson/Jackson Memorial),
Amanda Guida (Lanoka Harbor/Lacey Twp.) and
Morgan Maines (Moorestown/Moorestown) posted a time of 6:02.6 to top Cabrini (6:19.6) and finish behind Rochester (5:31.7).
Earlier, Stockton's varsity eight went 6:16.9 while Rochester finished in 5:59.0. In the second varsity eight, the Yellow Jackets topped the Ospreys 5:51.5 to 6:12.9. Rochester also took the first novice four with a time of 6:00.7 to Stockton's 6:23.9.
Next weekend, Stockton will travel to Virginia to compete in the Occoquan Sprints hosted by George Mason University on March 31.
