Make UW-Madison Your Destination for Exploration!

Because Wisconsin 4-H is the statewide youth-development organization of UW-Madison, 4-H state specialists Liz Jesse and Tom Zinnen are eager to welcome 4-H clubs to come visit the UW Biotechnology Center for a hands-on BioTrek Field Trip featuring DNA Science Experiments and Food Science Savvy Explorations.

These field trips are free.

Liz and Tom can also work with you to schedule other Destinations for Exploration across the full range of STEM fields as part of your visit, including the Wisconsin Energy Institute, the Geology Museum, Allen Centennial Garden, the Arboretum, the Dairy Cattle Center, the Babcock Hall Dairy Store, and more!

We are happy to welcome groups during weekdays (for example, on days when your school is not in session), in the evening, and on Saturdays. See more science opportunities here.

To start the ball rolling, send an email to Biotrek@biotech.wisc.edu or phone Tom Zinnen at 608/265-2420.

See you soon at UW-Madison — Wisconsin’s public land-grant research & extension university!
