Students, Residents Showcase Research at Annual Symposium

student presenting at the CVM Trainee Research Symposium

Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (CVM) graduate students, postdoctoral students, and residents showcased their scientific achievements through poster presentations and platform and flash talks on Jan. 17 as part of the annual CVM Trainee Research Symposium.

This year, the symposium boasted 92 unique trainee research presentations for the professional development opportunity, which allows the students and residents to hone their skills in effective communication of their research findings in a variety of presentation modalities.

Afterward, students were able to receive constructive feedback from faculty judges, and winning submissions were awarded with a certificate and, in some cases, a monetary award.
