Experiencing the Power of Healing Prayer
FBC family, we believe that prayer is an integral part of our life as humans, and that God hears our prayers and responds to us. Our own lives and the biblical story give witness to this reality. Yet the biblical story also presents the reality of praying for healing. And while this is an uncommon experience for many of us at FBC, we believe that God can and still does partner with our prayers and heal people! Not always. And often not at the moment we're hoping for. But sometimes. We don't know why God chooses to heal when he does, but we keep asking. And this seminar is all about exploring the possibility of asking God to heal.

We'll consider general questions about prayer, and then focus on asking God to heal physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

As a church we long to experience God's healing power and to partner with him and pray for others to be healed. So join us as we explore different aspects of healing prayer and how it can be used in daily life and ministry. This free seminar is specifically designed to help anyone who would like to become better equipped to confidently pray for others experiencing a physical, emotional, or spiritual need in their lives. Our time together will be led by John and Elaine Busch, who have been long-time members and partners at FBC. They are currently living in Reno and are part of Outlook Church, Reno. As many of you know, John and Elaine have extensive training and experience in prayer ministry.
