I've performed at Producers Club Theaters a fair amount. I may be biased, but I like the place. It's a little...withered here and there, but I think it's charming. Lots of little, cool spaces for performing. There's always something going on there.
Definitely needs some upgrade with the seats itself... it is a tough space with the stairs so unavailable for ADA guests or performers... BUT very artist friendly place and still an NYC must have and must support. New York artists need these black box theaters to showcase work.
Had a show and enjoyed the experience. First time and I enjoyed myself. Loved the vibe and the way it had many rooms to do different things. I gave it a 4 because it's not handicap accessible and people don't wear mask. So be vaccinated or you will feel very uncomfortable with it. But I have to say I really did enjoy the event.
This place is the epitome of “off broadway” but in the best way possible! There is a connected bar which is awesome! I went to see The Golden Girls live! (Which if you are thinking about it, DO IT!) and it was fantastic. The theaters are intimate but the sound is great and the seats are comfy. You will feel like they are acting just for you.
