Skinny Lister made a video for "Injuries," touring with Flogging Molly

London folk punks Skinny Lister released their latest album The Devil, The Heart & The Fight last year on Xtra Mile Recordings and we’re now premiering the video for “Injuries” off that album. Here’s what singer Dan Heptinstall tells us about it:

‘Injuries’ is about following your heart despite the risks, doing what you want to do with your life, and overcoming the obstacles that inevitably get thrown in your way. Shit is thrown at all of us from time to time, and ‘Injuries’ is a celebration of picking yourself up and battling on, and turning those experiences to your advantage.

Skinny Lister are frequent tourmates and collaborators of Frank Turner (and Frank named their album one of his favorites of 2016) and they’re about to tour the US with Flogging Molly. There’s elements of both of those bands in Skinny Lister’s sound, so if you like either one, check out the new video below.

There’s no NYC date on the tour with Flogging Molly, but Skinny Lister headline their own show here on April 2 at Mercury Lounge. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
