2024 Waterfront Scholars Application Form
Apply for the opportunity to attend the 2024 Waterfront Conference as a Waterfront Scholar. Join hundreds of attendees at the Waterfront Alliance's premier gathering of stakeholders, planners, environmental advocates, and industry experts. The conference will be held on May 21, 2024 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City.

The Waterfront Scholars program is sponsored by the New York City Economic Development Corporation.

Selected Scholars will receive free registration to the conference, including a private breakfast program with a special speaker. Scholars must provide their own transportation to the conference location.

Now in its 17th year, the Waterfront Conference is the region’s premier forum for dialogue and discourse about our shared waterfront and waterways. At this year’s event, DESIGNING FOR TOMORROW: The Multisector Approach to Resilience, speakers and panelists will discuss the multidisciplinary solutions that form the bedrock of planning and building for a better and more climate resilient future.

To gain a spot at the Waterfront Conference as one of our 2024 Waterfront Scholars, you must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate- or graduate-level program (all areas of study are welcome to apply). Additionally, applicants must write a brief response to a prompt question. A limited number of Scholars will be chosen based on the quality of the answer, so please give careful consideration before completing the application.

DEADLINE: All applications must be submitted by APRIL 26. Late applications will not be reviewed. All answers will be reviewed and the selected Scholars will be notified by April 30.
