Jaycee Holmes (ITP '18) along with her sibling Ernest Homes and Tavis Thompson, have been listed in Forbes 30 Under 30: Social Impact list. They created CodeHouse to ensure more students could access the pathways that lead to careers in STEM.
To date, CodeHouse has secured more than $3 million in funding from leading tech companies like PayPal, Google and Microsoft, and has hosted multiple Tech Exposure Days to educate high schoolers across the country about careers in tech. CodeHouse has also launched the CodeHouse Scholars Initiative, which provides historically black colleges and universities' students majoring in STEM-related fields with $20,000 in academic scholarships, networking opportunities, and technical training as they matriculate.
