LISTEN: Gringo Star Shares New Single “Hanging Around”

Atlanta, GA rock ‘n’ roll purveyors Gringo Star have a new album coming out in June called On And On And Gone.

And Rock & Roll Globe is honored to bring their fans a first taste of this anticipated effort today with the LP’s third single “Hanging Around,” a fantastic tune that sounds like some kind of lost session between Elvis Costello and The Attractions and Del Shannon. 

“I wrote ‘Hanging Around’ during the pandemic because we weren’t touring or playing much and it was about  wanting to see all our friends we’ve made over the years on the road,” explains band co-founder Nick Furgiuele, who started the band with his brother Peter. “And really it’s just a song about lifelong friendships.”

No doubt the friendship between Gringo Star and their international fanbase will only continue to grow and prosper as this band persevere as they have for 15 years.

The band will be playing select dates across North America in May before playing a slew of gigs in Europe in June and July. 

On And On And Gone comes out June 2 via My Anxious Mouth. Pre-order the album in the group’s BandCamp page.
