The twelve Akebono cherry trees are illuminated from Saturday, March 22 through April 5. Stroll through Ebetsu Plaza and experience the magic of Yozakura.

1st set: 7:45pm- 8:10pm
BREAK 8:10pm – 8:30pm
2nd set: 8:30pm – 8:55pm
They will perform on the patio of the Kyoudou Center, 219 S Main Avenue, inside Main City Park. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy Yozakura with us!
Visiting Gresham Japanese Garden
Tsuru Island, 3/4 of an acre located at Gresham Main City Park is free and open to the public sunrise to sunset.
Make sure to also stroll to the south end of Main City Park and discover more spaces GJG maintains; Ebetsu Plaza, mural of Gresham history, Ambleside Annex, and the Hiroshima Peace Garden.

The Friends of Gresham Japanese Garden bear responsibility to the City of Gresham to build upon the Japanese American legacy in the community. We foster sustainability through leadership, stewardship, education, and volunteerism.
