2024 Duda Preservation Awards a Success!

The Texas Historical Foundation's first-ever Michael C. Duda Preservation Awards event, held April 20, 2024 was a success, paying tribute to the legacy of architect and late THF board member Michael C. Duda by acknowledging outstanding preservation efforts in Texas. The selected projects have significant effects on our state's heritage education and tourism and receive grants to assist in the completion of their projects; a tradition THF looks forward to continuing in 2026 and beyond!

The inaugural 2024 Michael C. Duda Preservation Awards event took place at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas; winners include Friends of the Wheelock School House, Wheelock, Flower Hill Center, Austin, Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum, Cuero, and Rutherford B.H. Yates Museum, Houston.
