What is the SUNY New Paltz Alumni Network?
The SUNY New Paltz Alumni Network is a community of over 74,000 alumni located throughout the world. The network is a resource for alumni, students, faculty, and staff to build new relationships with alumni. Engaging with the SUNY New Paltz Alumni Network allows you to re-connect with classmates, expand your professional networks, and support current students.
Even if you no longer live near New Paltz, you can still connect with alumni and the campus community through the Orange & Blue Network – our platform for virtual engagement.
Through the Orange & Blue Network, you can virtually connect with alumni, avail yourself to student mentoring, and promote your business, among other things.
How can you get involved with the New Paltz Alumni Network?
Get involved by creating a profile (or refreshing the one you already have) on the Orange & Blue Network. Go to www.newpaltznetwork.org, follow the prompts, and complete your profile.
Once you activate your profile, you can start virtually engaging with your New Paltz Alumni Network near and far. The Orange & Blue Network will also allow you to:
- Volunteer to mentor or offer an internship to a current student,
- Seek and post positions for experienced hire opportunities,
- Offer to host an alumni reception in your home/hometown, and
- Network with fellow alumni with whom you share an affinity, interest, or career field.
The SUNY New Paltz Alumni Network has the potential of being a truly dynamic, robust community that celebrates the amazing diversity of our students and alumni and provides support to each individual as they pursue their individual path.
