What will you learn?

  • Develop skills in academic discussion, university assessment, creativity and innovation, critical thinking and collaboration.
  • Participate in lectures, tutorials and group activities, including a project assignment that involves exploring Sydney’s suburbs.
  • Develop digital skills to succeed at university, such as collaboration on discussion boards, creation of blogs and videos and the use of eLearning platforms.
  • Develop skills in self-reflection, self-assessment and autonomous learning.

How long will I study?

Students will study for five weeks, with 20 hours of classes per week.

Important fee information

2026 fee implementation

  1. GAS courses that start in 2025 have 2025 tuition fees applied, even where the course finishes in 2026.

  2. GAS courses that start in 2026 have 2026 tuition fees applied (exception is point 3 below).

  3. GAS Offers where the course is starting in 2026 and has an Offer that has been made on or before 10 October 2025 will be honour it at 2025 fees.  This means 10 October 2025 is the "cut off" date before 2026 fees are applied to 2026 courses.

Credit card surcharges

Payments made by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) will incur a 1.53% surcharge.

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

If you intend to study under a student visa, you will need Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

CET can arrange OSHC for you with Bupa as part of the application process. Simply indicate the type of insurance required (single/couples/single parent/ family) on step 2 of the application form.
