Americana Highways brings you this premiere of Judy Paster’s song “Love Should Be Brave,” from her forthcoming album, tentatively titled Growing Pains. The album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Pete Sallis at Sallis Palace Productions in Nashville, and will be released in the fall.
“Love Should Be Brave” is Judy Paster on vocals; and Pete Sallis on keyboard, drums, guitar and backing vocals. It was written by Judy with Bill O’Hanlon.
Sometimes a daydream about the ideal of what love really is, is a powerful and important thing to note. Judy Paster has an instinct for this in her writing, and displays it superbly here in this meditative song about the courageousness of love.
“Love Should Be Brave” is a cool departure from my fully produced Country/Americana releases of 2021, but I couldn’t be more excited to showcase and share this part of my Artistry. Lush vocals against a sparse landscape of electric keyboard carries the listener on a journey, that I believe, moves the heart forward.
