Nashville artist Shannon LaBrie set to release her new single “Firewalker” on May 1. “Firewalker” was co-written with Tia Sillers and Australian guitarist Joe Robinson and produced by Grammy Award-winning producers Brent Maher and Charles Yingling.

LaBrie tells us, “Recording ‘Firewalker’ was one of the most thrilling recording experiences of my life. Getting to work with such legendary engineers and producers (Brent Maher, Charles Yingling) was an entirely new process. This was my first time recording one hundred percent live to tape. There’s something so pure and honest about laying down a song together in the studio and not having the option to tweak or perfect it to the grid. Brent Maher and Charles Yingling both have such a quiet but, confident guiding presence. They created an extremely safe environment and pushed me to take the lead in ways that I hadn’t before in the studio. I’d say that when we finished recording, I left the session a better musician, creator, and performer. On top of that, recording my Gibson alongside Joe Robinson in his brilliant creative space was a highlight for sure. There was a twinkle in the day, and I swear I can hear it on the track.”
