Renowned Cuban artist Tania Bruguera bravely allows the world to witness her therapy sessions in a powerful film, Tania Libre. After experiencing a traumatic imprisonment in Havana for advocating for freedom of expression, Bruguera sought out Dr. Frank M. Ochberg, the founding father of trauma therapy. Their conversations raise crucial questions regarding the state of politics, surveillance, and repression in Cuba and the consequences of these practices.

Presented in partnership with Utah Film Center.
