Former first lady Michelle Obama will be making a visit to the Twin Cities in September.

The wife of former President Barack Obama will participate in a moderated forum at a St. Louis Park synagogue.

The forum is part of Beth El Synagogue’s National Speaker Series, which has previously hosted former first lady and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Michelle Obama will speak about her tenure as first lady as well as the initiatives she led.

The forum requires tickets. There are four levels: general ($100), priority ($200), preferred ($360) and patron ($500). Tickets are nonrefundable after Aug. 31. A photo ID will be required for entry.
