The CCE offers three awards for CC employees: 

1. Excellence in Community-Engaged Teaching: for a CC educators (faculty or staff) who have integrated teaching and learning with community-based work in meaningful, impactful ways.

2. Excellence in Community-Engaged Research: for CC researchers (faculty or staff) who have applied the knowledge of their discipline and their own expertise to the public good through community-engaged research.

3. Excellence in Community Engagement: for a staff or faculty member who collaborates with communities beyond the campus, modeling to students an ethic of community engagement. Preference given to those who engage other CC stakeholders, especially students, in that community work.

The CCE offers the following award to local community organizations that partner with our campus community: 

• Outstanding Community Partner Award: This award honors a community organization, association, or member who partners with CC in ways that meaningfully engage and develop members of our campus community.

The CCE offers the following awards to CC students: 

1. Community Collaborator: Award - for a student who has engaged in meaningful relationship building between communities on and off-campus.

2. Public Problem-Solver: for a student who is a changemaker and works to produce solutions to social, civic challenges

3. Advocacy and Activism Award: a student who has championed a social or environmental issue through advocacy, awareness-raising, or activism.

4. Campus Organizer: for a student who mobilizes campus stakeholders toward addressing a community-based need and promotes an engaged campus culture.

5. Anabel and Jerry McHugh's Director's Award: established in 1996, presented to a senior who has build the capacity of and advocated for the CCE.

The CCE offers the following awards to CC students: 

1. Community Organization Capacity Builder: for a student who has deeply committed to a community-based organization, meaningfully investing their skills and knowledge to advancing the mission of the organization.

2. Community Collaborator: Award - for a student who has engaged in meaningful relationship building between communities on and off-campus.

3. Public Problem-Solver: for a student who is a changemaker and works to produce solutions to social, civic challenges

4. Advocacy and Activism Award: a student who has championed a social or environmental issue through advocacy, awareness-raising, or activism.

• Outstanding Student Initiative Award: This award honors an excellent student-led collaboration that exemplifies and inspires thoughtful community engagement to other students. This could be a student-led organization, event, project, campaign, or partnership.
