Vice President for University Advancement Sacramento
The Vice President for University Advancement reports directly to the President. As the chief fundraising officer for Sacramento State, the incumbent plays a central role in leading the university’s development operations with the purpose of maximizing philanthropic support for Sacramento State. The Vice President will design and implement the strategic vision for fundraising and alumni relations in alignment with the university’s values, aspirations, and priorities. The Vice President for University Advancement will provide leadership and direction for the Division of University Advancement, including university development, annual giving, alumni relations, principal gifts, advancement services, and stewardship. The Vice President serves on the University Foundation at Sacramento State Board and Alumni Board and will provide leadership to dedicated volunteers, alumni, and friends of the institution as the university raises funds to support its students and operations.
Facilities Worker II (Multiple Positions) Sacramento
The Facilities Worker Il works under the lead work direction of the Facilities Project Supervisor and provides facilities repair and maintenance support to all residence halls. This position performs a wide range of more complex semi-skilled and basic skilled facilities and systems maintenance but doesn't require full journey-level skills.
Staff ASL Interpreter (Multiple Positions) Sacramento
The Disability Access Center (DAC) offers a wide range of accommodation services that ensure students with disabilities have equal access and opportunity to pursue their educational goals. The ASL Interpreter position will provide on-site interpreting services for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and/or Deaf-Blind students in: classrooms, lectures, labs, assigned course activities, placements, internships; in meetings with other academic departments, advisors, professors, university platform situations, telephone interpreting for academically related needs; provide limited mobility assistance for Deaf-Blind students, and voice for students. This position is a 10/12 position, meaning employed 10 months of the year.

The Writing Placement for Juniors (WPJ) Portfolio is a formative assessment of the writing development of students who are transitioning from lower-division coursework to upper-division coursework at Sacramento State. WPJ Portfolio Readers are responsible for performing this assessment of student writing development.
Psychiatrist (Hourly-Intermittent) Sacramento
Under the general direction of the Senior AVP, and the Medical Director, or Director of Psychological Services or Director of Clinical Operations, the Psychiatrist performs highly complex psychiatric services following a short-term model. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and short-term treatment to students; communicate with students regarding psychiatric care; communicate and collaborate with community providers to coordinate care; refer patients requiring long-term treatment or treatment outside the scope of care on a college campus to suitable community referrals; provide consultation to Student Health medical providers that are treating psychiatric patients; collaborate and provide consultation with Psychological Services providers and case manager and, manage psychiatric emergencies on campus by direct intervention or by collaborating with Student Health, Counseling, and Wellness providers and campus personnel, as appropriate.

Library Services Specialist III - Serials & Electronic Resources Sacramento
Working independently under the direct supervision of the Head of Collection Management Services, and in close collaboration with the Acquisitions Coordinator, the LSS III Serials and Electronic Resources Specialist is responsible for ordering and managing materials in the library that arrive on a periodic basis, including print and electronic newspapers, magazines, journals, and government documents. Responsibilities include: managing print and electronic serials acquisitions and renewals; monitoring renewal cost increases; monitoring and dealing with adds and drops from packages; preparing reports; participating in the assessment of department operations and functions; drafting documentation; providing training to department staff; and interpreting library procedures and policies pertaining to the acquisition of serials and government documents. Responsible for all aspects of managing the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). Maintains usage and cost-per-use data for serials; responds to requests for holdings, usage, and cost-per-use data; prepares requested reports; supports data-driven decisions about collections.

Under the direction of the Chief of External Relations, the Executive Assistant/Project Specialist provides executive administrative support to both the Chief of External Relations and the University President and is responsible for managing the daily administrative operations of the office. This position coordinates, supervises and manages all activities in the three chemistry department service centers which serve 15 undergraduate lab courses and research projects. Responsible for supervising student assistants, maintaining a safe work environment, maintaining the chemistry department budget, locating and procuring chemical and laboratory supplies, working with vendors to identify best sources of chemical and laboratory supplies. Responsible for maintaining the chemistry department chemical inventory and safety training records and coordinating preparation for chemistry department safety inspections. This position requires someone who can work as a member of a team and be diplomatic in high pressure situations.

The Director provides administrative leadership for Psychological Services/CAPS, including the development of program and service goals, objectives and strategic plans. The Director develops policies, procedures, clinical protocols, identifies personnel needs and resources, and evaluates program outcomes. This position reports directly to the Head of the Collection Management Services Department and works in close consultation with the LSS IV Metadata Management Coordinator. The department is responsible for cataloging newly acquired library materials, and for maintaining bibliographic and inventory records in Alma for display in the Library's discovery system, OneSearch. This position has chief responsibility for complex cataloging of special collections materials, curriculum collection materials, juvenile materials and other materials requiring adaptive cataloging.

Typical activities include purchasing of commodities of a technical and specialized nature, including, but not limited to, electronic, computer and lab equipment and/or review and development of specifications, as well as purchasing requirements in support of performance contracts, service agreements, software agreements and leases. This position should have knowledge in a variety of procurement methods and requirements. Each process is performed as required by the California State University policies and the State of California Public Procurement Codes, utilizing knowledge of public works, receiving, property and accounting functions as they relate to contracts and procurement. Responsibilities may include administering and analyzing the solicitation process, contract analysis and resolution, and understanding and processing software agreements. The majority of assignments (more than 50 percent) are at the journey level.
