Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Operations Officer Finalist Presentation

|

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We are pleased to announce that we are bringing a finalist to campus for the position of executive vice chancellor and chief operations officer at the UT Health Science Center. This position is the Chancellor’s leading senior administrative officer for day-to-day internal and external campus operations and is an integral member of leadership within the campus and the UT System, as well as community and government leadership.

We want to thank the search committee for their efforts in this process, as they have thoroughly reviewed numerous applications and interviewed several candidates. We also want to thank all those who participated during the on-campus interviews of three highly qualified candidates from whom this finalist, with a wealth of experience and unique skills, was chosen.

The finalist will present a virtual presentation via Zoom that you are invited to attend:

Friday, June 30
9:15 – 9:45 am CDT
Register here to watch the presentation via Zoom

As you know, once a candidate gets to this stage of in-person on-campus visit, absolute confidentiality is hard to ensure and of course as a senior executive our finalist is aware of that. All that said, we respectfully ask that you still treat the information shared as well as the finalist’s identity with ‘administrative confidence’ – thank you for that.

We are most grateful for your help in both championing this executive vice chancellor and chief operations officer position with this finalist, as well as for assessing the fit of the finalist to join us. A brief post-interview survey will be sent out after the presentation.

Co-chairs of the search committee:
