- Martin Shore is the Chairman of the Santa Monica based entertainment
company Social Capital, one of the fastest growing feature film, music
and new media companies in the industry.
Shore began his 25 year entertainment career as a professional
musician, touring with the likes of Bo Diddley, Mick Taylor, Bluesman
Willie, Clarence Clemons, Albert Collins and many others. As a Grammy
nominated music producer, Shore and his company Social Capital have
been instrumental in the production of soundtracks for such television
series and feature films as Saw (2004), Saw II (2005), Charmed (1998),
Rize (2005), Rock School (2005), Cursed (2005) and Summerland (2004).
On the feature film side, his experiences range from working as a
production assistant on the award winning documentary Punking Out to
his recent turn as producer (alonside Ridley and Tony Scott) on the
supernatural thriller Tell Tale (2009).
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, he has been a
successful real estate entrepreneur. In 1998, Shore was among the
finalists and the eventual runner up for the prestigious Ernst & Young
California Entrepreneur of the Year award. He has also recently founded
Mobile Digital Network, a mobile content provider.
He received a degree in Business Administration and Communications from
the Whitmore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire. He
is a past lecturer at Mesa Junior College and Westchester State
