The Women’s International Music Network presents an evening of live music, fashion, education, networking and fun. Featuring platinum-selling artist Lisa Loeb, plus sister duo, Command Sisters, Los Angeles singer/songwriter Jenna Paone, and our opening act contest winner, Ariana and the Rose, this all ages evening also includes an industry panel, brand activations, giveaways, raffles, a silent auction and so much more.

Lisa Loeb is a touring artist, author and philanthropist who started her career with the platinum-selling Number 1 hit song “Stay (I Missed You)” from the film Reality Bites. A trailblazing independent artist, Lisa was the first pop musician to have a Number 1 single while not signed to a recording contract. She followed that remarkable feat with the hit singles “Do You Sleep,” “I Do” and “Let’s Forget About It ” and the albums Cake and Pie and No Fairy Tale. Her albums Tails and Firecracker were both certified Gold.

Lisa’s newest album, Lullaby Girl, will release on October 6th exclusively available on Amazon Music featuring a world-class quartet led by keyboardist Larry Goldings and co-produced by Rich Jacques.

Guitars, sister harmonies, award-winning songs, and exhilarating live shows; these are only a few reasons why Command Sisters have been turning heads internationally. Hailing from Canada, Charlotte and Sarah have collaborated with platinum producers Disco Fries (Tiesto, Krewella), which resulted in the progressive dance banger “Earthquake” (Armada). They just released their first single “Low Profile” and have more to come. Career highlights include: John Lennon Songwriting Contest winners, Grey Cup Festival, Yoko Ono’s Peace Sign Movement Central Park, Shanghai International Arts Festival, and much more, including a personal career highlight of a private event with Prince William and Princess Katherine in Calgary, Canada.  www.commandsisters.com

Jenna Paone is a songwriter, pianist, and vocalist based out of Los Angeles. Originally from Boston, MA, Paone built a name for herself as a solo artist whose music blends classic pop, soul, blues, and folk rock into an intoxicating musical cocktail with retro roots and a modern bite. She has shared the stage with international artists such as The Bangles, Colbie Caillat, Orianthi, and more, and her music has received airplay on regional radio stations and has been featured in independent films. She released her most recent full length album, Hammers & Strings, to glowing reviews, and is currently recording new material to be released in 2017.

The WiMN has selected Ariana and the Rose as the winner of our opening act contest. Hailing from NYC, Ariana and the Rose was selected from countless entries, and has a stellar knack for channeling the fantastic, the otherworldly, and the heartfelt into her music. Her latest EP Retrograde was heralded by Billboard for being “lyrically sincere, sonically enveloping synth-pop,” and was placed on iTunes’s New Indie section as well as Spotify’s Indie Pop Chillout and New Music Friday playlists in the UK, Portugal, and Canada. With her richly emotional storytelling and enthralling visuals, Ariana aspires to make you dance with feeling as you enter her world. She also will be participating in an immersive event at the House of Yes on November 16 called Light + Space.
