(A Zoom link will be sent to confirmed attendees who RSVP for virtual attendance.)
This panel aims to inspire a new generation of future urbanists, builders, and policymakers to reshape our cities in response to the challenges of our day. These challenges arise from many needs: for affordable housing, to balance competing demands on public spaces, to retrofit our buildings to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, for investments in public infrastructure, and for new strategies to mitigate the effects of climate change, to name just a few. The panelists will discuss their work to meet these challenges and help shed light on how current Williams students and alums can engage in this urgent work.
