About this event

Please Join Us For Our 3rd Annual Vanderbilt Alzheimer's Disease Research Day

This campus-wide academic event will showcase Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia research from multiple clinical and basic science departments across campus, including Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Vanderbilt University, and Meharry Medical College.

Event Details

This year's theme will focus on advances in clinical trials and our keynote speaker will be Dr. Suzanne Craft. Dr. Craft is Professor of Medicine, Director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and Co-Director at the Sticht Center for Healthy Aging and Alzheimer’s Prevention at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Her keynote lecture is entitled, Metabolic Pathways to Alzheimer’s Disease: Novel Mechanisms and Therapeutic Approaches.

This day-long event will also feature invited faculty lectures, a data blitz, and a poster session with reception.

While we are planning for an in-person event, any forthcoming changes in institutional policies may result in the event being converted to a virtual activity.

This event is free and open to the Vanderbilt and Meharry community, but attendees are asked to register by Tuesday, March 15th, 2022. Only registrants will be able to access the complimentary breakfast and lunch offerings.

Abstract Submission Instructions

While this year's theme focuses on advances in clinical trials, we welcome abstract submissions focused on any Alzheimer's disease and related dementia topic.

To submit an abstract, please visit: bit.ly/ADdayAbstract22. The abstract deadline is Tuesday, March 1st, 2022.

Note, the abstract submission portal is now closed.
