Drop Off/Pick Up Reminders: Safety First

A reminder, for everyone's safety, that being dropped off or picked up in the WHS Bus Zone is not allowed.  It's imperative that this area remains clear for school bus drop off and pick up only. Bus drivers cannot see students that run across the bus zone in front of them to get into or exit a car. 

Additionally, students must not cross 195^th Street NE at the Bus Zone entrance. There is not a crosswalk at this location. Students should not be dropped off or picked up alongside 195^th Street NE. 

For drop off/pick up, please use the designated Main Office Drop-Off Loop.

Furthermore, for students that have permission to park in the 600 Building Lot, extreme caution must be used when leaving campus to not dart out of the lot in front of incoming school buses.

Activities

Theater Tickets - Spring Musical
WHS Spring Musical: Twelfth Night, April 25-27 and May 2-4

Woodinville High School Theatre Company is excited to bring the musical adaptation of William Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, Twelfth Night, conceived by Kwame Kwei-Armah and Shaina Taub, with Music and Lyrics by Shaina Taub, to the WHS Theater stage. The show is a rousing contemporary musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy about mistaken identity and self-discovery. Kwame Kwei-Armah and Shaina Taub have taken the bard’s romantic comedy, transformed it into an exhilarating musical, and catapulted it into a moment that is both contemporary and timeless.

Performances are April 25-27 and May 2-4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Woodinville High School Theater.

The performance is appropriate for all ages.

Ticket Sales:

• Reserved seating only! Tickets are available for purchase first come, first serve starting Monday, April 1:
  1. Online through GOFan:

  2. In person at the WHS Main or Cashier's Office (no processing fee, M-F, 7:50a-3:50p)

• Ticket prices are as follows*:

  • General Admission $15
  • Students w/ASB $10
  • Seniors 65+ $10
  • VIP $25 (Section 2, center, bottom only)

*In order to receive a qualified fee waiver for winter musical tickets, the ticket(s) must be purchased through the InTouch Point of Sale system at the WHS Main or Cashier's office. (Student free, immediate family member(s) 50% discount.) 

Other Details

• Tickets will be available at the Main or Cashier's Office until 4:00 pm the day before each performance and online through GOFan! until 4:00 pm the day of the performance. 
• Each night, tickets will be available at the box office starting at 6:15 pm – cash or check only please.
  • Tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis at the box office if that performance is not yet sold out.
• For tickets purchased on GoFan, be sure to bring your mobile device for entry at the door.
• Please note there is no food and only water allowed in the theater.
• No photography at any time.

Senior Survey & Scholarship Reporting - Final Transcript Requests

The Senior Survey and Scholarship Reporting window runs through May 6 at which time the process must be completed.

Information collected from the Senior Survey and the Scholarship
Reporting process is used for following reasons:

• Recognition in the Senior Awards publication
• Request (and consent to release) your final official high school
  transcript to the college/university you are attending in Fall 2024
• Data for the WHS School Profile sent to colleges and universities
  for college admissions

It is vital that seniors complete the Senior Survey and the
Scholarship Reporting process on time due to printing deadlines.

Class of 2024! Artwork submissions for the printed Senior Awards publication being accepted thru May 6

• Students from the Class of 2024 who would like to have an opportunity for consideration of their artwork to appear on the cover and possibly inside the Senior Awards publication will find information and the upload portal on the WHS website under Activities, Class of 2024
• Submissions will be due by Monday, May 6 at 11:55 p.m. through the Google form Senior Awards Art Submissions for Class of 2024

Celebrations

WHS Robotics Qualifies for World Championships!

On Saturday April 6th, the WHS Robotics team won the Rookie All-Star Award which qualified them for the championships in Houston this upcoming week! The students have worked hard this year to earn this prestigious award and opportunity to represent both Washington and Oregon in the PNW District. There will be over 600 teams flying in from across the country and the world to compete for the world title. The event runs from Wednesday to Saturday with all of our matches live streamed.

State Science Olympiad Results

Over the weekend of April 12, our Woodinville High School Science Club participated in the State Science Olympiad competition which consists of 26 events where students showcase their abilities in wide-ranging scientific topics of interest. This year the team as a whole place 7th in the state and placed in the top 5 in seven individual events including:

WHS Accreditation

Woodinville High School participated in the Washington State Accreditation process in the 2022-23 school year. 

• This is a voluntary process that takes place every 6 years, where we demonstrate that here at WHS we provide our students with a high quality and rigorous education.
• Accreditation is an inquiry-based process, tightly aligned to our Strategic Action Plan, and the work we do at WHS. 
• Accreditation is not only an internal review of how we are doing in meeting our goals, but also an external review process where we share our work and improvement plan with both a site evaluation review team and a state level review panel.

We are pleased to announce WHS was accredited for another 6 years, with our school noted as exceptional.
