Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner at Ryman Hospitality Properties

Contribute to the development of artist and industry strategy by maintaining close relationships with artists and their support teams to drive artist engagement and new opportunities across venues with Opry Entertainment Group (OEG). Responsible for department-specific reporting and supporting programs related to programming concepts within the department. Reports to Director of Artist Relations.

  • Represent company as an ambassador to the artist community by attending showcases, industry events, and shows/concerts.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends, including artist history, other entertainment offerings in local market, and city-wide events. Maintain knowledge of Opry artists' music and initiatives, and related timelines.
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships with artists, artist teams, and other industry professionals.
  • Research and distribute information regarding FAQs, priority artists, upcoming music releases, and performance data. Deliver regular internal communication regarding strategy and activity.
  • Provide insights and assessment of artists considered for Opry performances and other artist-centric programs. Provide artist data and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate and manage project plans, budgets, timelines and milestones. Provide updates and recaps to internal teams.
  • Serve as on-site contact for various media/social requests and supervise on-site media/social activations and filming requests.
  • Manage and supervise the onsite execution of artist events such as post-show events, Opry NextStage shows, My Opry Intros, and other events.
  • Plan and coordinate company-sponsored industry events and activations, executing key projects and opportunities.
  • Monitor and track the effectiveness of social promotion around programs, performances, and activations.
  • Create presentations for senior leadership that blend story, financial and strategic decision-making information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline or
  • equivalent additional experience required

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience required, preferably in the entertainment industry

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and superior organizational skills required
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with differing deadlines
  • Broad knowledge and solid understanding of the Country, Americana, Bluegrass, and related genres, from new/emerging talent to mainstream superstars to established/legendary artists required
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs and SharePoint

Licenses / Certifications

  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
