Feeling like there is a lot to worry about? Well, you’re not alone! It just might be the case that we have to get comfortable with not feeling okay and seeing uncertainty as a new way of life. Probably not what you wanted to hear! But, on the bright side, consider this. You are super well equipped to manage this uncertainty and move forward with your life despite it. Want some tips on how to do that? We got you covered. Join us to make a plan for yourself that includes how to:

  • Interpret anxiety differently
  • Control anxiety provoking thoughts
  • Adjust big or small life plans over the next two years
  • Maintain hope and make future plans

The session is interactive and will use breakout rooms and discussion. Registration is limited to 25 participants

About the facilitator:

Dr. Louise Lambert, Ph.D., is a registered psychologist (#2659, College of Alberta Psychologists, Canada), author and researcher with almost 20 years of experience in counselling, mental health, not-for-profit organizations, higher education and research and primary healthcare. She has lived in the UAE for 10 years and is a leading expert in the delivery of Happiness and Wellbeing programs across the GCC and in Canada, with many programs being used in organizations and schools. Kuwait’s national Bareec positivity program and Dubai College’s positive education program are examples of her work. Dr. Lambert is the co-editor and author of the first regional positive psychology textbook (Springer, 2019), as well as the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Middle East Journal of Positive Psychology, a journal dedicated to happiness and wellbeing in the Middle East region.
