The Buff & Blue Bytes series highlights the unique talents of GW alumni and students through 30-minute informational and interactivevirtual sessions. 

In this half-hour session, GW alumna and avid knitter Michelle Jacobs, GSEHD MEd '11, EdD '17, will discuss how she got into knitting nearly 15 years ago and how this crafting outlet has helped her keep calm throughout the pandemic. From hats to sweaters to socks, Michelle has experience in creating different items from a variety of material. And did you know that all knits are made from combinations of just two different stitches? BYO yarn and needles (both optional) to learn some techniques or just come to watch and learn as Michelle shares her knitting tips, tricks, and resources for knitters of all skill levels.
