Tu B'Shvat Tree Planting

Celebrate Tu B’Shvat, the Jewish New Year of Trees, with Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL) on Jan. 28 from 1-4 p.m.! Help us plant trees in an Intown Atlanta park to help sustain our urban forest. These trees will provide cleaner air, cool shade, and an all-around improved habitat for humans and wildlife living in our community.

Planting tasks include digging holes with shovels/mattocks, untangling roots with your hands, mulching, watering, and cleaning up your area. Physical activity such as bending, lifting, and kneeling is required. Tree planting can be physically strenuous—be ready to break a sweat and get dirty!

This event is put on in partnership with Adamah ATL and is currently full. Stay tuned for additional details.
