Overview of Public Listening Session - Vehicle to Grid Federal Funding Opportunity
The MA Department of Energy Resources (DOER) recently received encouragement from the federal Department of Energy (DOE) to apply for competitive Grid Resilience Innovation Partnerships (GRIP) funding based on a concept paper thatproposed a way to get electric vehicles to drivers with low and moderate incomes in exchange for allowing the batteries to improve grid resilience.
DOER seeks public comment on topics such as:
- Partnerships for the application
- Locations
- Potential program designs
At this listening session, DOER will quickly review the presentation below providing more detail on the concept and leave most of the agenda for public input.
Written comments will be accepted until April 1st via email to christina.moroney-ebarb@mass.gov and via Jamboard.
