The California Solar Canal Initiative (CSCI) is a collaboration amongst Solar AquaGrid, USC, and six other leading research universities to explore the possibilities, challenges, and benefits of installing solar panels over California’s 4,000-mile canal system.
This innovative, research-driven approach aims to turn a critical component of California’s infrastructure into a key factor in conserving water, generating clean energy, and delivering lasting benefits to communities across the state.
