“It is with a deep sense of gratitude and reflection that I return to The George Washington University, the very place that shaped much of my intellectual and moral grounding in economics and public service. I will deliver a keynote address on The Future of Finance and Trade in Africa to the GW community, alongside distinguished business and policy leaders. This conversation could not come at a more fitting time. As the global order bends under the weight of uncertainty, there is an urgent need to rethink the architecture of economic systems, and to place Africa not on the margins, but at the center of what comes next.”
Hon. Ndaba Nkosinathi Gaolathe
Vice President of Botswana and Minister of Finance
