Dance Troupe Presents: Kicks for Kesem Winter 2022 Recital

Join Grand Valley Dance Troupe as the student organization presents "Kicks for Kesem", their Winter 2022 semester recital.

Performances will be Friday April 8th at 7pm, and Saturday April 9th at 1pm and 7pm. Open to all students, families, and the community! We are proudly supporting Grand Valley's chapter of Camp Kesem, which is a fellow student organization who puts on a camp for children whose parents have cancer. All money from ticket sales will be donated to the organization.

Tickets are $5 at the door, and children 5 and under are free. Masks are optional but encouraged.

We look forward to you joining us at a show to show support for Dance Troupe's hard work as well as for Camp Kesem!

GVSU Dance Troupe provides an opportunity for dancers and choreographers to express their passion for dance in a fun environment. It is a non-competitive, student-run dance organization that caters to all dancing styles and levels. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced level dances. Some of the styles we offer include jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, and musical theater. Our goal each semester is to work together to raise money or donate supplies to an organization through the generous help of our members, family, and friends. In recent years, Dance Troupe has collected donations on behalf of many organizations including The Sierra Club of Michigan, Paws with a Cause, and The Alzheimer's Association.

We are Grand Valley's chapter of the national non-profit organization, Camp Kesem. Our mission is to provide a free week-long summer camp for children who have been affected by a parent's cancer.
