Bright Spot: Health Care Heroes

Our Bright Spot shines on Health Care Heroes honored by the Rochester Business Journal on Tuesday.

Those recognized for their impact on health care in our community included two people from Catholic Charities Family and Community Services.

"We are so excited for both our staff members, Yvonne Peters and Obaida Omar, long-term staff members in the human services field, one in nursing and one in administration in our refugee settlement program," said Lori VanAuken, president and CEO of CCFCS. "They are amazing women who work hard and get a lot accomplished, and it's a tremendous honor to be recognized."
