Become a Sustainability Faculty Fellow this year!

SUNY New Paltz faculty are invited to apply to join the fifth annual cohort of the Sustainability Faculty Learning Community, which is dedicated to integrating sustainability topics into coursework and campus programs.

Sustainability Faculty Fellows gain access to resources, training and a professional network to help you bring sustainability topics and material into your existing courses and programs.

Fellows earn a small stipend of $250 dollars and play a key role in helping move the College toward more sustainable practices and instruction.

The Fellowship also offers workshops throughout the academic year, as well as a two-day Institute on Jan. 11 & 12, 2021. We anticipate that all programs will be offered virtually this year.

Faculty who are interested in this opportunity must apply by Wednesday, Sept. 16. Use this link for the application form.

Up to 15 academic and professional faculty will be accepted into this learning community for the fifth year of the program. Fellows will be expected to integrate sustainability into an existing course, create a new sustainability-related course (which can be co-taught), or integrate sustainability into a campus program.
