Temple Policy
Temple membership is required for admission into the Gurukul program.  In order to process Gurukul admission, you should be either a Life member (which does not expire in your lifetime) or an Annual Family member.  Annual membership is valid from January 1st to December 31st.   If you haven’t renewed your membership for 2016, Temple won’t process your children' admission into the program.  You can renew your membership by mailing a check to Bharatiya Hindu Temple for $120, or visiting the Temple and paying $120 in-person.  Temple recommends you to renew membership before filling this form.

Your child must be six years old on August 31, 2016. A birth certificate may be required for age verification.

Although there are many options for students to enroll, but a student is allowed to enroll for only three courses. The admissions committee will try its best to accommodate all requests but the class size and availability of a classroom at a given time/slot dominates Temple’s decision to admit children.

Gurukul takes attendance everyday; punctuality to the class is taken very seriously, and therefore, it is important that your child is present in the class 5 minutes before class begins.

Filling this form doesn’t guarantee your child’s admission into Gurukul. The education committee will email admission decision upon its completion (probably before the second week of August, 2016); your patience will be highly appreciated.

The admission committee will acknowledge the receipt of admission form by email and it will be sent to parent 1's email that you will provide in this admission form. Please make a note of this and don’t forget to check your email.
I agree to abide by all Temple and Gurukul guidelines. *
