Reminisce with us as we celebrate Homecoming 2025 on the UW-Whitewater campus! This year's theme is Childhood: No Bedtimes, Just Good Times. We’ll combine old with new, friends with family, reminisce and make new memories as our spirited student and alumni traditions continue. Join us for the entire homecoming week of October 19-25, come for game day and cheer on the Warhawks, or just take a stroll through campus. Our schedule is packed with events — from talent show auditions to the Warhawk football game — so you can tailor your Homecoming to your liking. Join us Thursday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. in The Young with your HawkCard for free admission and $5 without it while tickets are available. Doors open at 6 p.m. If you’re planning to perform, don’t forget you’ll need to audition this Sunday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in The Young. Reserve your audition slot »

| Gather around a large bonfire and enjoy a student organization cheer competition featuring the UW-Whitewater cheerleading team and tug-of-war with a DJ next Friday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. at the Hamilton Green near Parking Lot 12 (between Andersen Library and Heide Hall). Enjoy hot cocoa (while supplies last) and the heat of a warm fire with your fellow students and future fellow alumni.

| Join Willie Warhawk and some of his closest friends on the streets of Whitewater next Saturday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. The parade will begin on the corner of Prince St. and Main St. and conclude at the corner of Prairie St. and Starin Rd.

| This year, UW-Whitewater’s Homecoming week falls during National Chemistry Week. In that spirit, the Department of Chemistry presents “Bedtime Dreams: The Mystical World of Chemistry — Spicy Spectacles, Magical Reactions, and Rockin’ Science Fun” this Thursday, Oct. 23, from 7-8 p.m. in Upham Hall room 145. The event — which will show the power of chemistry to create visual, dramatic reactions — is free and open to the public.

Homecoming Week includes several athletics events, including contests in men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, and football. Enjoy top-level NCAA Division III competition and socializing with fellow Warhawks.

| If you’re 21 years or older and headed to Saturday’s Warhawk football game, check out the Champions Club, located behind the north end zone inside Perkins Stadium. This experience includes a full-service cash bar and unique sight lines to the field action.

| Culver's Flavor of the Day
|
On Homecoming Day—Saturday, Oct. 25—the Culver’s in Whitewater will be serving its special “Flavor of the Day”: Dough You Bleed Purple! This sweet treat combines creamy vanilla and chocolate Fresh Frozen Custard swirled with thick fudge, ribbons of old-fashioned salted caramel, and chunks of cookie dough.
