Dear 2021 Commencement Marshal Volunteers,
I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming commencement ceremonies, May 14-16 & May 22-23, 2021. With your dedicaton, we are experiencing an historical commencement, but a chance to provide an opportunity for our students with an in-person experience. I'm grateful for your help - thank you again - and a special shout out to our faculty members who are helping. Welcome!!
Arrival Information
Marshals assigned to Volunteer Check in; Student Check In; Student Seating; Troubleshooters: Arrival 8:30 AM (morning shift); 1:00 PM (afternoon shift) for brief overview.
All other marshals: Arrival: 9:00 AM (morning shift); 1:00 PM (afternoon shift)
Check in right of stage at Old Main Quad
Pick up radio (if assigned) which will be sanitized
Note: Due to the revised stage party format, the role of diploma cover/stage assistant has been removed. Volunteers who pre-registered for this position have been moved to an alternate assignment on the same day and time. Some volunteers may have been switched to an alternate or dual assignment to ensure coverage in areas of greatest need. Your flexibility and understanding is appreciated as long as you are comfortable.

Attire and Ammenities
Please dress in New Paltz spirit for example, orange marshal shirt, New Paltz attire, New Paltz mask - whatever makes you feel good!
There will be wrapped snacks and water for all and for those volunteering a full day, a grab and go lunch beginning at approximately 1:00 PM.

Bathrooms open in Old Library, Old Main and Wooster
