Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (8-11, 3-9 NJAC) scored the last 15 points of the first quarter and never looked back as the Ospreys downed Rutgers-Camden (10-9, 3-9 NJAC) 67-33 on Wednesday night. The victory snapped a three-game losing skid.
Hailee Porricelli (Howell/Freehold Twp.) led the Ospreys with a career-high 17 points on the night.

The game started tight with the teams trading points, knotting the contest at 4-4 at 6:30 of the opening frame. Stockton then closed out the period by scoring 15 straight points to take a commanding 19-4 lead. Stockton shot 5-9 (55.6%) from the field during the quarter while limiting the Scarlet Raptors to just 2-12 (16.7%) in forging the advantage.

Porricelli opened the second quarter by hitting one of her trio of three-pointers for the period. The sophomore helped the Ospreys take a 37-10 lead into the locker room, as she topped all players with nine first-half points. Stockton's defense was stiff once again, holding the visitors to 2-11 shooting (18.2%) and forcing 12 turnovers during the first 20 minutes of play.

Stockton kept up the pressure to start the second half, outscoring the Raptors 15-11 in the period. Gelston with six points and
Emily Donzanti (Toms River/Toms Rivers South) with four markers topped the squad as the margin grew to 52-21 after three quarters.

The final period became academic as Stockton finished out the contest with Porricelli adding eight more points to her career night. All 10 players for Stockton registered points on the evening.

Armanee DeBarry (Millville/Millville) filled the stat sheet with seven points, seven rebounds, tying her career-high, and a game-high four steals.

Jalissa Pitts posted a double-double of a game-high 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Scarlet Raptors.
