Banner system upgrade this weekend means some applications, including COVID-19 profile and screening, will be unavailable

Banner, a program the College uses to manage student records and other information, will undergo a server upgrade beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, and continuing through 6 p.m. Sunday, April 4.

During the upgrade, my.newpaltz.edu will be unavailable, which means that students, faculty and staff will be unable to access their COVID-19 profiles or complete their Daily Health Screening.

The College will temporarily waive the screening requirement this weekend for students on April 3 and April 4, so they can still access their residences and other campus services while my.newpaltz.edu is unavailable.

The Daily Health Screening app should be back online by Monday, April 5, and all members of our community will need to resume screening that day if they intend to be on campus.

Other applications used by students, faculty and staff will be unavailable during the Banner upgrade, including:

Banner (Production environment)
Xtender
Workflow
Argos
Marketplace
People Finder
A-Z index
Academic and finals calendars
Campus events calendars
Dorsky Museum Membership and Donation form
Transfer equivalency database
ESL application form

Blackboard and DegreeWorks will NOT be affected and will remain available during this maintenance.

Thank you for your patience during this outage.
