Haley Green (Springville, Utah) and juniors
Aubrey Rentzel (York, Pa./Central York) and
Molly Eng (New Providence/New Providence), received Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA).
The requirements for College Sports Communicators Academic All-District are a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average and sophomore or higher standing. Players must be a starter or significant reserve who appeared in at least 50 percent of their team's games this season.
Green racked up an impressive list of honors for her outstanding play this year. The outside hitter was chosen AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, AVCA All-Region 4 Team, NJAC First Team and two-time NJAC Player of the Week.
Green led the NJAC in kills (3.67/set) and finished second in points (3.91/set) plus fourth in hitting percentage (.280). She reached double figures in kills in 23 of the 28 matches that she played and finished with nine kills four times. Green also contributed 112 digs, 25 blocks and a 90.9 percent success rate on serve receptions.
Rentzel was an NJAC Honorable Mention selection after leading the Ospreys in aces and assists while also finishing third in digs. The setter was fifth in the conference in aces (0.50/set) and eighth in assists (5.23/set).
Rentzel played in all 104 sets of Stockton's 29 matches this fall. She recorded six double-doubles (double figures in assists and digs) and dealt at least 20 assists in 11 of the team's 29 matches.
Eng led the Ospreys and finished sixth in the NJAC in digs (3.68/set) while playing in all 104 sets. The defensive specialist reached double digits in digs in 22 of the 29 matches. Eng was second on the team and eighth in the conference in aces (0.49/set). She registered an 88.7 percent success rate on serve receptions as well.
Green, Rentzel and Eng helped Stockton to a 20-9 overall record and second place in the NJAC regular season standings with a 7-1 conference record this season.
