LTI's are also known as External Tools or Apps

LTI IS AN EDTECH INTEGRATION STANDARD CONNECTING USERS TO LEARNING TOOLS AND RESOURCES FROM THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS WITHIN THE LMS (CANVAS). LTI'S ALLOW A SECURE AND COHESIVE EXPERIENCE FOR USERS. SOME LTI'S EXIST IN CANVAS BY DEFAULT, WHILE OTHER LTI'S require a unique install key+secret.&#160; some LTI'S AT TULANE INCLUDE ZOOM, top hat, OFFICE 365, LOCKDOWN BROWSER, HYPOTHESIS, YUJA, AND MANY MORE, INCLUDING TEXTBOOK PUBLISHERS LIKE PEARSON &amp; MCGRAW-HILL CONNECT, as well as experiential hubs like comptia, lingrohub, and labster.&#160;

SUBMIT LTI RECOMMENDATION - ALLOW AMPLE TIME PRIOR TO LAUNCH FOR LTI APPROVAL PROCESS.

LTI REVIEWED ENSURING COMPLIANCE, SUPPORT &amp; FUNDING REQUIREMENTS ARE MET FOR THE LMS ENVIRONMENT.

LTI APPROVED (OR NOT), FACULTY NOTIFIED, APP INSTALLED OR ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS DISCUSSED.
